ABOUT US
We are an indie brand specialising in all forms of the art of game design, except perhaps game adventure books. We are an optimistic bunch in a profession that is all about high ideas, and idealism. So trust us that we will bring the best gaming experience!
On a side note: the name of our company, CAW, forms the initials of Clever And Witty, as well as it being the name of the founder and owner of the company, Calixtus Ashley Wee. As you can see, we love our puns. Also, the logo is in a form or shape of our mascot, a Crow, and Crow Caws!
For us, games are more than just entertainment, something fancy or for fun. Games as they stand now, are used to relieve stress and are a form of relaxation. But we endeavour something new, that games are not just for recreation but a recourse to the pitfalls in life, whereupon players can recover on better terms, by receiving inspiration from the fantasies they entertain in their mind as they play, through living out their dream fantasies in the gaming world. They are an incentive to explore one's imagination, and educate on and promote their own creativity. In other words, we feel that game design and gameplay are not just for the purpose of creating enjoyment for players but provide a role in society to allow for artistic expression and stress relief to the everyday person, which will be beneficial to society as a whole. Games play a larger role than we give them credit for, and they are certainly not "just for fun".
